Who we are

Our History

Welcome to Hanisi Mission – a church rooted in faith, service, and a deep commitment to missions.

Our story began in 1998 under the Caubati AOG Church, where a small group of believers united with a shared passion for spreading the gospel. By 2001, we had moved into a humble bure (hut) at the International School compound, stepping closer to our vision of becoming a mission-driven church. In 2003, Hanisi Mission was officially registered and began its independent journey of making disciples and sharing God’s love across the globe.

Our Heart

At the heart of Hanisi Mission is a singular focus: the Great Commission. Over the years, God has empowered us to send out over 10 mission teams and 25+ missionaries to 12 different countries. Our newest initiative, the Global School of Missions, is a testament to this calling. In just one year, this school has equipped and sent its first five interns into the mission field, preparing a new generation of workers for God’s harvest.

Beyond global missions, our church serves at home through impactful ministries like our street shelter, which provides nightly refuge and meals to over 30 individuals. This ministry embodies our belief that mission begins with love in action, whether near or far.

Our Hope

We are also a growing community with a thriving Youth, Sunday school, Men’s and Women’s ministries, and a commitment to nurturing disciples of all ages. However, our true heartbeat remains missions – reaching the unreached, serving the underserved, and equipping the called.

Hanisi Mission is a place where believers are empowered to step into their God-given purpose and become part of a global movement for Christ. If you feel called to make a difference and live out the Great Commission, we welcome you to join us.

Together, let us continue to build God’s kingdom and take His love to the ends of the earth. Hanisi Mission – Faith in Action, Missions at Heart.
